The demonstration by SOS NHS (Nationwide Well being Service) – a coalition of marketing campaign teams and commerce unions – demanded on Saturday, the federal government make truthful pay hikes for well being care staff within the face of accelerating residing prices.

Well being Secretary Steve Barclay introduced early on Saturday that he urged the junior docs union, BMA, to have formal pay talks and name off the upcoming industrial motion.
“Let’s have a constructive dialogue to make the NHS a greater place to work and guarantee we ship the care sufferers want,” he wrote on Twitter.
